Would you kill all of the mosquitoes in the world if you could?
Yes.
Is that even ethical?
Absolutely. 100%.
But what about the environment? Don’t bats eat mosquitoes?
Hypothetically, yes. But if that’s true, the bats in my neighborhood are doing a terrible job. Or they don’t exist. Either way, not helping.
How bad are mosquitoes really?
Mosquito borne illnesses are the #1 killer of humans in the history of mankind. So…pretty bad.
Can I hire you to come to my house & fix this?
Absolutely not. This is a DIY situation, emphasis on the “Y”. You’re a big boy/girl. You can handle it.

What are the first steps?

How long will it take to work?
You’ll start seeing results within 3 days. One week in, the difference will be noticeable. In my experience, mosquitoes should be basically cleared from your property in 2-3 weeks.
What time of year should I start?
Ideally, you want to start the process in late spring, just before you would expect to start seeing mosquitoes. Every female mosquito you kill can prevent hundreds over the course of the summer.
Will it work if I already have a major problem?
Absolutely. It’s best to start in the spring and keep mosquitoes from becoming a big issue. But this method will work whenever you decide to begin. I started in mid-August and cleared my property before Labor Day.
How far can mosquitoes fly?
Most “backyard” mosquitoes only travel a couple hundred feet. That’s why eliminating standing water on your property is such a big deal. But if you live near other people like I do, you’ll want to get your neighbors in on the action.
Why are you doing this?
I hate mosquitoes. They are the worst. I spent so much time, effort & money trying to solve this problem, I just don’t want it to got to waste. So I hope this helps other people with the same issue.
